This micro-credential introduces school leavers and new people to marina or boatyard operations, providing learners the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in marina and boatyard operations before going onto a full Boatyard Marina Operations apprenticeship.

Hardstand operations micro credential includes:

• Health and Safety & workplace expectations

• Prepare, launch and retrieve boats in a marina

• Understanding of environmental protection practices in a marina

• Safe storage of boats on hardstand

• Communication when moving and storing boats

• Understanding of risk management in a marina
