1. Check the eligibility requirements first

Employed in an industry-appropriate workplace with a workplace trainer.

NCEA Level 2, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge or skill.

Legal ability to study in NZ (passport, driver’s license, and/or immigration status will need to be verified).

Minimum of 16 years of age.
English Language Requirements
An applicant whose first language is not English is required to provide any of the following:

Evidence of successful completion of at least five years of secondary education from a country where the student was taught using English as the medium of instruction

Successful completion of a vocational certificate or diploma, of which the medium of instruction is taught in English.

IELTS at least 5.0 overall score or equivalent

This applies to courses that have limited space or have a specific enrolment window.
4. Successful Enrolment Learners
Train in the workplace with support from their MAST Academy Assessors, Employer, and School (if applicable).
